Community Connections

The Multicultural Center is currently recruiting dedicated students, faculty, and staff to serve as part of our new Community Connections (C2) Mentorship Initiative!

Community Connections Mentoring Initiative (C2) is an opportunity for students to connect with each other, meet university faculty and staff, discuss topics, share ideas and build a culture of care at Georgia State University. This will also be a space for students to discuss strategies for success and ways to impact their cultural community at Georgia State University. The program is a year-long commitment to taking part in a shared experience of Community Connections (C2).

  • Interested in being a Mentee? Students will be matched with a faculty or staff Fellow and a peer mentor that will guide them as they progress throughout their academic career, help them connect to their purpose with their personal and academic goals and help develop cultural competence and build community on campus.
    Application will be available soon.
  • Interested in being a Peer Mentor? You will be matched with a group of students and their faculty or staff Fellows, to help guide them through the program and help shape the mentorship experience! The Peer Mentor application will be available soon.
  • Interested in being a faculty or staff Fellow? Faculty or staff will be matched with a student mentee in a 1-1 mentoring relationship designed to help connect the mentee’s purpose with personal and academic goals, as well as build understanding of diversity and inclusion on campus.
